Each month has a different them; for example, this month’s theme is ‘Quotes from Books,’ last month it was ‘Motivational Quotes.” You get the…

College Tour- UCF

If you have read our post about this months and last months goals, you have seen a little something about college essays and scholarships. That would be because it is college application season. Staying in spirit, Donovan and I went on our very first college tour at UCF. Now it was a unique trip, mainly because our teenage procrastination let us wait to long too long to sign up for our tour, so we did a self tour.           There were 4 main things that we…

Ending Illiteracy

This my final installment of post on women’s illiteracy. For those of you who are new, a few weeks ago we began a discussion about illiteracy and how women make up a majority of that population, but also how educating women is the first step to ending poverty for many families. You can read the full post on women’s illiteracy here. Ultimately ending illiteracy is an important cause and many organizations are working for that exact goal. Last time, I shared some information about SHARE in Africa, an organization based in…

For most of us school starts in 15 days!! That, my friend, is very frightening. July was a pretty good month views have been pretty consistent, even if they are a little lower than we would like, and our social following is slowly growing. With that said lets see what…

What is Guidance?

I’m going to take a break from women’s illiteracy today and just discuss a topic that has been a bit prominent in the past few weeks.         Lighthouses will guide you to land, but who guides our youth to safety? Teenagers have so much on their plates, especially high school students. Every day, we work towards securing our futures- going to school, taking standardized test, playing sports. Every second of every day is filled to the top with something. That is stressful by itself. Now lets add…
